Aims |
1. Understand the culture and history behind idiom stories 2. Learn the moral concepts and life philosophies conveyed by idiom stories 3. Cultivate children’s qualities through idiom stories |
Content |
The activities selected the idioms "Pulling up the seedlings to help them grow (K1), "Adding the finishing touch to a painting (K2), and "Linging in the ears for three days (K3)"" respectively. Short idiom stories were used to make it easier for children to understand. They learned interesting Chinese characters and principles from the idiom stories. At the same time, books, teaching materials, and small crafts were used to enhance children's understanding of idiom stories. Young children learn by doing, which not only enriches their language but also develops a sense of identity with Chinese culture |
