Through different areas and various learning techniques, activities are arranged for the preschool, lower class, and upper class. • The preschool class introduces Chinese folk handicrafts—small fragrant pillows. Parents and children use templates to print distinctive Chinese patterns and design their own unique small pillows, showcasing the characteristics and techniques of traditional Chinese handicrafts. • The lower class introduces traditional Chinese horticultural art—bonsai. By combining plants with artistic techniques, parents and students create a miniature natural landscape, experiencing the philosophical thoughts and aesthetic concepts behind traditional Chinese bonsai. • The upper class introduces traditional Chinese cultural customs—lantern making. Parents and children work together to create a beautiful lantern, learning about the culture and techniques of traditional lantern making, which reflects exquisite craftsmanship in the arts and crafts. |
