1. Understand the legislative process. 2. Understand the environment and facilities of the Legislative Council and the purpose of the conference hall. 3. Cultivate children's early civic awareness and let them know that they have the responsibility to participate in society. |
| Content |
| The guide will give a brief introduction to the itinerary, and then lead the children to walk around while telling them about the environment, history, functions and operation of the Legislative Council. Then they will go to the library to listen to stories, and through the stories, the children will understand the process of lawmaking and deliberation. Finally, the children will vote on the legislative bills and formulate regulations for the children to abide by. This will initially let the children know their civic responsibilities. |
