Jiao Keng Ecological Journey

Aims

• Enhance children's awareness of the natural environment.

• Understand the local ecological environments of plants and animals.

• Strengthen the importance of attention to and protection of the natural environment.

The Lions Club Nature Education Centre sent staff to lead the children to the crop area, where they were introduced to how to use farming and watering tools. The children learned how to till the soil and irrigate using these tools, and also explored the growing environment and care methods for various crops, experiencing the joy of farming. Afterwards, they visited the "Shell Museum," "Insect Museum," "Fishing Museum," and "Farming Museum," allowing the children to experience and learn more about the relationship between nature and life, cultivating an attitude of respect for nature and environmental protection.
